I have always had a passion for animals and have worked in the horse industry as an instructor and yard owner all my life. Always with a menagerie of dogs and cats tagging along, from Battersea Rescue dogs to Labrador and West Highlands.

Often whilst out and about clipping horses, clients would ask me to do the dog too! I decided after some random styles it would be a good idea to train to do it properly! I trained in Cheshire on a residential course where we had 1 or 2 dogs of different breeds each day, learning the finer points of the differing breed clips and also the ‘pet clip’ variations.

I set up the business in 2010 and fit the dogs in around the care of the horses living here and freelance teaching. Being a country/farm environment seems to help the dogs to stay very relaxed and with the nature of my lifestyle it means times for grooming can be fairly flexible to meet the customers needs.
